Our values, ethic

Confidentiality

Your presence as the informations shared during sessions remains strictly confidential, whether during individual sessions and/or at our events. We are committed to honouring the trust you place in us.

Anti-discrimination

We are committed to actively ensuring that everyone feels welcome and recognised in terms of their cultural, religious, gender, sexual and ability identities. We reject all forms of discrimination based on race, class, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender and any other criteria.

Self-determination, posture

Our approach is non-pathologising and focuses on your ressources rather than your problems. We value self-determination about everything you might experience during our process.

We start from a position of humility in the face of the diversity of bodies and their complexities, and seek ways to reduce hierarchies between 'practitioners' and service users, whilst being aware that this language itself already reinforces these power dynamics.

Consent

Consent is one of the pillar of our practice. Each exercise is an invitation; you are always free to refuse. You are welcome to adapt the suggestions and change your mind at any time. Consent can always be withdrawn.

We are aware that it can be more difficult to refuse a suggestion given the power dynamics inherent in our position. This is why we are particulary vigilance in this regard and make sure that your consent is genuine. That said, it is possible that we may overlook something, and in such cases we are open to taking the necessary responsibility.

Trauma-informed

By offering care involving the body, ee are aware that we may encounter certain traumas. Our approach is 'trauma-informed', which means we understand the impact of trauma and how it can manifest in the body. Our aim is to support you in exploring your sensations and emotions within at your own pace.

However, we are not certified psychologists. Our support is not intended to replace any necessary medical treatment. We do not provide medical diagnoses or medication-based treatments. Our work is not intended to replace appropriate professional support and makes no promises of a cure.

If you have any doubts whatsoever regarding your physical or emotional health, or if you are unsure whether this approach is right for you. You are responsable for telling us about medical/prychological specificities and to consult your doctor to clarify the situation. We strongly encourage you to seek medical and/or psychological support alongside our process. We are committed to referring you to specific professionals suited to your situation if necessary.
